Have a Body You Can Be Proud Of With Natural Weight Loss

Natural weight loss means lowering your daily calorific intake while increasing the amount of calories you burn through exercise; advice like this is for the most part ignored. You would think this simple set of instructions should be easy to follow.

This obviously isn’t as easy as it sounds because currently over a third of Americans are overweight. Of course, once you are overweight, you usually want to trim down for a whole lot of reasons, some related to health, others having to do with looks.

The hard thing for people to understand is it is easier to maintain your natural weight than lose extra pounds once you have put them on. Even though many people know this subconsciously very few actually plan to ensure that weight gain doesn’t happen to them.

Studies have shown that it is more likely a person who has lost weight using a calorie controlled diet, even if they actually enjoyed it, are more likely to go back to their old eating habits at some point. You can maintain your weight through natural weight loss methods and even if being at the center of unwanted attention doesn’t convince you, surely your health should.

Most health experts contend that the significance of excess weight is more than cosmetic as it takes a huge toll on a person’s physical health. The annoying part is that natural weight maintenance is not difficult to understand but overweight people choose to ignore this.

Some people worry about what foods they will eat on a natural weight loss program but it is just a case of having a combination of, protein, carbohydrate and fiber. A meal such as this would be something like a baked potato (complex carbohydrate), the fiber is vegetables and protein is a lean cut of meat.

Unfortunately, dietary fat contains higher amounts of calories than ordinary food which when consumed will just be converted to body fat more readily. Don’t fall into the fat-free trap where manufacturers keep coming out with low-fat or fat-free versions of their best-selling foods despite the fact that Americans are getting fatter anyway.

What people fail to understand is that it isn’t just fat in their food that is making them put on weight, it’s the quantity of food they consume and the calorific content of it. This is a trap that many people fall into and forget it’s about eating from the correct food groups, and if you have to snack make it a small healthy one.

Some health care specialists believe that a good method is to eat smaller meals and healthy, nutritious snacks every 3 or 4 hours. The lifestyle you want really is possible if you just remember that natural weight loss is a way of living and not just some fashion.

Lose Weight Fast

by jazzygirl liz

Being thing never used to be a problem for me. I loved being a petite blonde weighing in at 119 pounds and easily fitting into a size 6. I was even too small to give blood when I was in college. I didn’t weight enough!

The days of wearing the size 6 clothing have long since passed. I am still short, but overweight - by a good 30 or 40 pounds.

I really really want to lose weight fast. I have just never been sure on how I should go about it. Without the luxury of time - spending an hour a day, 5 days a week in the gym, it is a struggle I know not only for me, but for most mom’s in the world. At most, I get about 30 minutes in the gym, 2 days a week. It really isn’t enough to help me lose weight really fast.

I cannot nor would I want to engage in fasting, diet pills, or any unhealthy weight loss mechanism. I actually have to eat every few hours to keep my blood sugars balanced - so burning off more than I take in is often times a challenge as well. So how can I lose weight fast? I need to find a way to take the weight off and keep it off.

I really have a hard time focusing on extreme calorie reduction. I don’t sit around eating cookies and ice cream all day, but I do enjoy eating. Extreme calorie reduction tactics are not only difficult for me mentally and emotionally, but they also physically slow down my metabolism. So this is not a good long-term approach. It seems as though my focus should really be on burning more calories than I’m taking in.

Now, putting ideas and thoughts down on paper are one thing, but actually accomplishing it is a whole other ballgame. What can I do on a daily basis to help me lose weight really fast?

Its a known fact that increasing your muscle mass will increase your metablism. So adding muscle building activity is always a step in the right direction with any weight loss program.

But, as I’ve stated before, I am not able to live in a gym. I have a family to care for and I have to work every weekday. So how do I accomplish it all? How do I drop this weight - and lose weight fast enough that I do not become discouraged in the process. How do I lose weight really fast?

When I read about Dr. Suzanne Gudakunst’s fat loss secret, I was amazed that she was saying no matter what we do to lose weight, it simply will not come off on its own. She has shown me the real reason I’m fat, and how I can drop the weight safely and effectively.

How To Get Rid Of Stretch Marks - How To Guide

Dear Shauna, How can I get rid of stretch marks? Signed, every mother, bodybuilder, or anyone who has ever gained (or lost) a lot of weight in a short amount of time. First off, you’re not alone. As you can see from the signature, stretch marks aren’t limited to a particular race, sex, or religious denomination…they’re pretty much an equal opportunity problem. Lucky you, huh?

Getting rid of stretch marks is a goal that can be accomplished, but it will take an investment of time and diligence. The only exception to this rule are those whose finances can support procedures like microdermabrasion or chemical peels, but these aren’t procedures to be undertaken lightly.

Millions of creams, potions and other products claim to be able to remove stretch marks yet very few actually come through with a winning result. However these same creams can be used in other ways. They can, over time, slightly reduce the appearance of stretch marks, but bear in mind that stretch marks are red to begin with fading to white over time - don’t confuse this change in color with what that new stretch mark cream is doing for you!

Want to know the best way to get rid of stretch marks? Stop them before they start! I know most of us aren’t thinking about them then, but it is really so much easier to prevent stretch marks than it is to get rid of them. Some simple tips to prevent stretch marks? Don’t gain a lot of weight in a short amount of time, enhance your skin’s elastic properties by applying a stretch mark cream, and stay hydrated. Prevention of stretch marks is the best way to keep your skin smooth and supple.

The application of creams can indeed increase the elasticity of the skin, thus allowing it to stretch further. Notice I said further up they might not work as a corrective method on their own? Well that’s sometimes true, but they can increase the ‘bendiness’ of your skin and help you prevent further, or worse stretch marks.

There’s a ton of products you can buy if you’re not interested in a high-quality stretch mark cream. Off the top of my head I can think of a couple oils: Jojoba and castor; some butters like: shea and cocoa; and of course the vitamins: A, C, and E. You can also help yourself by eating right and staying hydrated…water is very important! Why? Well aside from the numerous health benefits, it also helps the cells in your skin regrow faster.

The most popular item on that list has got to be Vitamin E creams. It’s actually an ingredient in a lot of the more popular stretch mark creams. Not the only one, of course, but still an honorable mention in the heavy hitters. Whether you choose to use these “homemade” recipes or put your trust into a high-quality stretch mark cream, the choice is really yours. Pick something you can afford and something you feel comfortable with.
